The connector is surrounded by a metal shield and the cable braid is also soldered to the connector to create an end-to-end full shielding solution guaranteeing a noise-free connection. USB 5Gbps (USB 3.0) is 2nd revision of the ubiquitous USB (Universal Serial Bus) Standard. Clocking in at speeds up to 5 Gbit/s, USB 5Gbps (USB 3.0) is a vast improvement over the USB 2.0 speed of 400 Mbit/s while being completely backwards compatible with USB 2.0.

Perfect!

Needed a cable for my USB 3.0 Dock Station as my old one had an apparent short. This cable fit the bill as a replacement perfectly. Now my dock station is working again without and shorts or hiccups. Will purchase from this vendor again if need be.

It's a cable.

Yep, it IS a cable and... it works! You plug one end into something (like an external hard drive) and the other end into something (say your computer). And then lights flash and information is shared/exchanged. Very much like magic. Now I have a three foot cable but like a lot of men I wanted something bigger. To impress people. I didn't have a lot of money. So I turned to the ComputerCableStore and they have restored my self worth by providing me with a six foot USB 3.0 SuperSpeed tool. Now I take it out and show it to everybody! Get one, impress your friends.
