For the best results during sleeving installation, the sleeving should be cut with a hot knife.The 1/8" F6 Braided Sleeving 10FT - Black Will fill this role completely. The heated blade slices through most grades of sleeving and seals the ends to prevent fraying during installation. We offer an assortment of tools to accomplish this, ranging from heavy duty, high volume devices to portable gas powered units.Heavy duty components and heavy Gauge 2 1/2" blade make this tool ideal for use in production environments.

Never knew this existed, stops the fraying !!!
Works so well to cut cable wrap and stop the fraying. I watched a video which said to use with item you are cutting on glass and it was a life saver.
