What's the difference between Composite RCA and Component (RGB) RCA video cable?
Composite video (RCA) carries the entire video signal over a single RCA connector, usually paired with red/white stereo RCA audio. Component video (RGB) uses three separate RCA connectors carrying separated red, green, and blue signal channels for better picture quality and clarity than composite video.

Does it matter which RCA connector I plug into which jack?
RCA connectors are conventionally color-coded (red/white for stereo audio, red/green/blue for component video), but the cable itself doesn't have to match those colors — what matters is connecting each RCA plug to the correct matching jack on both devices.
