New SCD21 standard cable developed

A new cable has been developed that can send signals at a lower differential than SCD21 standards. The wire is capable of transferring data at -40dB, and consistently performs at -25dB. Those statistics represent performance on a 20 GHz bandwidth.

Throughout the world, governments and private telecoms are working on installing networks of fiber-optic cable to bring high-speed broadband services to businesses, agencies and consumers. While fiber-optic cable provides a significant increase in performance over copper wire, the better value still goes to copper.
