25FT Assembled CAT6 Network Patch Cable - Blue
This 25FT Assembled CAT6 Network Patch Cable - Blue is idea for use in a performance demanding high speed Gigabit network while remaining fully backward compatible with your existing 10/100 Fast Ethernet network. High speed Cat 6 patch cables can also be used as an assurance that your existing Fast Ethernet network is performing at it best! This 25FT Assembled CAT6 Network Patch Cable - Blue is carefully constructed using a high quality 250 MHz Cat 6 bulk cable, which consists of 4 unshielded twisted pairs, 24 AWG stranded conductors, and a durable rich colored PVC jacket. These Gigabit rated Cat 6 patch cables easily handle bandwidth intensive applications plus they are UL certified patch cables that meet all the TIA/EIA standards. Terminated with short body RJ45 plugs that contain 8 gold plated contacts with 50 microns of gold plating each keep ear-end Crosstalk (NEXT) interference levels to a minimum. The 8 Position 8 Contact (8P8C) (often called RJ45) plugs and sockets are most regularly used as an ethernet connector. 8P8C connectors are typically used to terminate twisted pair cable. A patch cable or patch cord (sometimes patchcable or patchcord) is an electrical or optical cable, used to connect ("patch-in") one electronic or optical device to another for signal routing. Devices of different types (ie: a switch connected to a computer, or switch to router) are connected with patch cords. Patch cords are usually produced in many different colours so as to be easily distinguishable, and are relatively short, perhaps no longer than two metres. Types of patch cords include microphone cables, headphone extension cables, XLR connector, RCA connector and 1/4" TRS connector cables (as well as modular ethernet cables), and thicker, hose-like cords (snake cable) used to carry video or amplified signals. However, patch cords typically only refer to those short ones used with patch panels.

15ft. PS/2 KVM Cable
The cables that you use when connecting your computer to our MasterView KVM switches play a very important role in the quality of the communication between the PCs and the MasterView unit. Our custom made cables are designed to provide the highest signal capacity along with the lowest signal loss. What this means, to you as the consumer, is that you will receive the highest quality video output even in the higher SuperVGA video modes. An Average Cable Your average cable has one layer of shielding, a thin layer of mylar foil that has been cut into a very long and narrow, approximately one half of an inch wide, strip that is wound in a spiral pattern around the wires, also called leads, in order to reduce the cost of the cable. There are a few problems with this method of shielding a signal bearing cables, first and foremost among them is the fact that this wrapped foil method can "leak" RF (radio frequency) interference. Additionally the manufacturers of your average cables use very small wires to carry the information generally they use 28 or 26 AWG wires (in AWG the higher the number for the gauge the smaller the actual size of the wire) to carry their information, this is another concession to reducing the manufacturing costs of the cables. Some of your other "Premium" cables are made in the same way and with the same materials as your average cable. The manufacturers put fancy connectors on the cable then stamp the word "Premium" on the packaging and then charge you more for the cable. ATEN's Premium Cable At ATEN we have invested millions of dollars into cable manufacturing to ensure the highest quality cables at the lowest possible cost. Our cables are double shielded, beneath the PVC outer insulator you will find a copper braid RF shield, then beneath that you will find the mylar foil shield. Unlike our competitors instead of spiral wrapping the mylar foil shield, we take a single piece and enclose the signal carrying wires in a one-piece envelope. All our cables are manufactured with low resistance and low capacitance 24 AWG wires to ensure the best video performance. Another important difference between our cables and those of our competitors is that we use coaxial wires to carry the red, green, and blue video signals. Our competitors just throw the signal and its ground on two separate wires. By using coaxial wires we reduce the possibilities of interference even farther. Our video cable is also built in compliance with standard UL 2919. The cables we manufacture for our mouse and keyboard are also built to our high quality requirements and are in compliance with the UL 2464 standard.

4-Port Dual View Dual Link DVI KVMP Switch with Audio
IOGEAR's GCS 1644 4-Port Dual View DVI KVMP Switch marks a leap in KVM functionality by combining IOGEAR's Display Emulation Technology with the widescreen graphics resolution of today's 30+ inch monitors, supporting Dual View / Dual Link DVI , 2560 x 1600 (higher than 1080p HD). Two Dual-View / Dual-Link display computers can be accessed and controlled from a single console (running dual-displays! This unique KVMP can increase efficiency and save equipment cost for applications where high resolution, dual-display large or widescreen monitors are required: CAD (Computer Aided Design) and CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) Desktop Publishing / Graphic Design / Video Editing Medical / Surgical / Diagnostic Displays And High-End Gaming, where high and ultra-high video resolution is demanded. The GCS 1644 also features two USB 2.0 peripheral ports for asynchronously sharing USB devices between your computers. A powered USB hub may be attached to the peripheral ports for added functionality. Audio and microphone support makes sharing speakers and a microphone a convenience for the users which serves as an extra value. The IOGEAR's Display Emulation Technology* remembers your monitor's ideal resolution and refresh rate (EDID), making it possible to boot all your computers simultaneously, switch back and forth between computers, and still maintain the ideal video settings of the monitor. The GCS 1644 offers an out-of-box solution including all cabling required for "Set-up and Go"! *IOGEARs Display Emulation Technology provides the EDID support for Windows 7*IOGEARs Display Emulation Technology provides the EDID support for Windows 7 In information technology, Universal Serial Bus (USB) is a serial bus standard to connect devices to a host computer. USB was designed to allow many peripherals to be connected using a single standardized interface socket and to improve plug and play capabilities by allowing hot swapping; that is, by allowing devices to be connected and disconnected without rebooting the computer or turning off the device. Other convenient features include providing power to low-consumption devices, eliminating the need for an external power supply; and allowing many devices to be used without requiring manufacturer-specific device drivers to be installed. DVI, or Digital Video Interface Technology came about in 1999 as a result of the formation of the Digital Display Working Group (DDWG) a year prior. Their original mission was to create a standard digital video interface for communication between a Personal Computer and a VGA monitor. Recently, however, the consumer electronics industry began implementing DVD players, set-top boxes, televisions, and LCD/plasma monitors with DVI technology. 1080p is the shorthand name for a category of HDTV video modes. The number "1080" represents 1,080 lines of vertical resolution (1080 horizontal scan lines), while the letter p stands for progressive scan (meaning the image is not interlaced). 1080p can be referred to as full HD or full high definition to differentiate it from other HDTV video modes. The term usually assumes a widescreen aspect ratio of 16:9, implying a horizontal resolution of 1920 pixels. This creates a frame resolution of 1920×1080, or 2,073,600 pixels in total. The frame rate in hertz can be either implied by the context or specified after the letter p (or i), such as 1080p30, meaning 30 Hz.
