BAFO USB Extension over CAT5e from ComputerCableStore™. Bafo's USB Extension Extends USB Signal's over CAT5e Cable. This transmitter and receiver set extends the usb signal up to 40 Meters with a standard CAT5e patch cord. Both Sender and Receiver unit are self contained and have built in power circuitry, eliminating the need for an external power supply. Due to it's design no software or configuration is needed and it compatible with all USB devices. Good for extending, keyboards, mice, web cams, CD drives / Burners, Cameras, Ect. Supports usb 2.0 for high speed devices. In information technology, Universal Serial Bus (USB) is a serial bus standard to connect devices to a host computer. Although 1000BASE-T was designed for use with Cat 6 cable, the tighter specifications associated with Cat 5e cable and connectors make it an excellent choice for use with 1000BASE-T ethernet networks.
