ComputerCableStore™ 1u Cat 6 Patch Panel - Rack Mount - 12 Port is intended for high speed LAN transmission rates up to 1 Gigabit. These patch panels were developed with proprietary printed circuit board technology which results in superior performance that meets or exceeds TIA/EIA-568-B.2 specifications. The new version of the 110D terminal block can be used with both a Krone or a 110 Punch Down Tools. The terminal block on our CAT 6 patch panels features both the 568B and 568A color codes on the new version 110D IDC terminal block to ease the task of installation. A patch panel or patch bay, not to be confused with the jackfield, is a panel, typically rackmounted, that houses cable connections. One typically shorter patch cable will plug into the front side, whereas the back holds the connection of a much longer and more permanent cable. The assembly of hardware is arranged so that a number of circuits, usually of the same or similar type, appear on jacks for monitoring, interconnecting, and testing circuits in a convenient, flexible manner.
