In order to satisfy today's ever increasing need to boost bandwidth and speed, Tec Optix Solutions offers it's Gigabit Media Converter Series. Solutions are available in both single mode and multi mode; converting 1000 Base-T to 1000 Base SX.
Flexible and Easy to Use MC1000 series is among the most versatile and easy to use items on the market. The MC1000 series has a stand alone kit ideal for desktop use and is wall mountable as well. Also available is a 19" rack mountable chassis that holds as many as 16 individual units. The MC1000 series include several easy to read LED's that detect link, transmit/receive, and full/half duplex status.
Key Features
- One 1000Base-T port with RJ-45 connector, one 1000 Base-SX/LX fiber port supporting either multimode fiber or single-mode fiber.
- The TX port auto detects full and half duplex and supports auto-MDIX for uplink purpose. There are two pins on the DIP switch: The pin on the left hand side to let the fiber port auto detect full and half duplex or be forced to full duplex mode. The pin on the right-hand side to enable or disable the link-fault-pass-through function.
- LED Indication: PWR/TX/RX/Full Duplex & Collision/LNKC/LNKF.
- One 1000Base-SX/LX Fiber port supporting either multi-mode or single-mode fiber, one 1000Base-LX fiber port supporting single-mode fiber. LED Indication: PWR/SDA/SDB
- Compliant with IEEE802.3ab 1000Base-T, IEEE802.3z 1000Base-SX/LX.
- Extended single-mode fiber distance up to 20 km (12.4ml).
- Wall-mountable or expansion use with a 19" media converter chassis system.
- Works in conjuction with MC1600 16 bay chasis.
